In some cases, Remote Access may be required by third parties to assist with the setup, training or ongoing support of the third party product. Any request for Remote Access to a device within a school for a third party must be submitted by the Principal (or other authorised personnel) of the individual school where the device is connected. Remote Access is typically granted on a one-to-one basis only i.e. one specific third party user account to one specific school device. However, if Remote Access is required to the same product installed in many schools, a one-to-many access may be provided.
Please note that Remote Access cannot be provided to a SIMS server under any circumstances.
